These little collages came out of a fit inspiration and a pile of paper. I actually painted the paper used in the collages except for the grid paper, cut every snip with scissors, and layered the pieces in dozens of configurations until it was just right. Every step of the process was a delight, and I'm in love with the finished product. They have really bold colors and a lot of contrast, so I've loved having them printed on white sticker paper, but vellum gives them a cool look too. I like to write little quotes or personal pep-talks with black permanent ink and stick them in my planner. Frankly, I think you'll love them too.
NOTES ON PRINTING:
The quality of the paper and the printer play a huge role in the quality of the print. Specialty papers meant for photos and a higher quality printer would yield more vibrant colors and a sharper image. Try printing on clear label paper such as Avery 8665—it’ll look like you painted right on the page! I like to experiment with things like vellum and kraft paper, but most often print on "Waterproof Sticker Paper, White Matte" by Online Labels.
The file is formatted to be printed on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper. Printing it larger than that will reduce the quality of the image.
